Gloria The telescope was opened at 18:00 MDT. It was closed for a little while for spectral cals. I had to apply a 30 arcsec pointing correction in azimuth at the beginning of the night. A few additional pointing corrections were required during the night. Xiaohui Fan and Michael Strauss observed for PU01 doing SDSS follow up observations. The sky was fairly cloudy at first, but it did clear up. Unfortunately, the seeing wasn't very good. They did manage to get some good data, however. 2nd half observing specialist: K. Gloria Alan Diercks observed with GrIm2 for UW01, which is a project in conjunction with UW02. Kevin Krisciunas observed on site with SPIcam for UW02. After Kevin, Joanne Hughes also observed on site with SPIcam. The seeing continued to be poor. The guider was averaging about 2.2 arcsec fwhm for much of the second half of the night.
