McMillan The night was very clear, with moderate winds and dust. Interestingly, although our seeing was not excellent, the 3.5m got better seeing than either DIMM or the 2.5m for most of the night, until the temperature began to drop rapidly before morning twilight. * During the test-slew procedures at the beginning of the night, a few problems were encountered, including the telescope trying to slew to a different place than it had been commanded. These were cleared up when the TCC and mc were restarted. DIS was on first half, and showed rather poor pointing. We had two pointing corrections larger than 30 arcseconds. The tracking was good, however (in object rotation), and we obtained some good data. SPIcam was on second half; we had one bias image with a little bit of the low-level diagonal noise that has been scene in the past, but this was even less defined than usual, and it went away after a few images. OBSERVER COMMENTS X. Fan (PU01): Everything went very smoothly, and lot of good data.
