Gloria The telescope was opened at 19:00 MDT, and closed at 20:00 MDT to do spectral cals during twilight. It was reopened at 22:00 MDT. Calibration images were delayed by a *problem with the DIS LN2 auto fills, so we got started on the sky late. Other than the problem with the DIS fills, observing went smoothly. Wei Zheng and Zlatan Tsvetanov observed remotely from JHU, doing some SDSS follow up observations. UC08 kindly let them run 15 minutes over to allow them to finish an exposure on a faint object. 2nd half observing specialist: K. Gloria The UC08 observations also went well. Heidi Newberg and Brian Yanny observed from UC, also doing some SDSS follow up observations.
