Xiaohui was the observer for UC06. The beginning of the night had pretty good weather, and we got started pretty quickly. Xiaohui lost 0.2 h when I centered on the wrong star. I listed this under equipment (am I equipment?). I had to close at 22:00 MDT due to dust, which was just over our closure limit. The dust went down just before the end of Xioahui's run. The dewpoint/airtemp sensor is temporarily out of service. It stopped working just before 20:00. Craig stayed and worked on it for a while, and will likely work on it again tomorrow during the day. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: N.C.Hastings Immediately upon taken the controls we had an enclosure problem it looks like. At 01:25 MDT, approximately, I notice trailed images while focusing. It seems that the azimuth stopped tracking for some reason. Karen and I checked the enclosure and all looked normal, green LED's on the control box. The telescope did look slightly misaligned with the enclosure. We reinitialized the motors and made a series of test slews, all seemed fine after that. It seems that the enclosure stopped while tracking is our only guess. The second half saw mainly clouds. Thick enough cirrus that we were unable to image our objects. It cleared around 04:45 MDT. During the night we did notice a strange pattern in the GrIm chip after subtracting two images. The images we were subtracting were close to saturation, but we also see the pattern in the shorter exposure images. It is mainly in the two right quadrants, and slightly in the upper left quadrant.
