Unfortunately, we had to close at 21:30 due to clouds. Tim Heckman and Crystal Martin (JHU) were on-site to observe with the echelle. They got a spectrum of a bright object, and had just begun to expose on one of their faint science targets when it clouded over. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: N.C.Hastings I was unable to open the telescope due to clouds and then high humidity. We had two reports of snow flurries in Cloudcroft so I was conservative regarding re-opening. We were able to open at 03:30, but the seeing was so bad it I could not focus properly. It fluctuated between 2-5 arcseconds! When I opened DIS was again *dumping* LN2 out of the rotating joint, freezing the floor and emptying the dewar. I submitted a problem report. Chris Mallouris was unable to get the point and click feature to center the star properly. It moved the star in the opposite direction! He tried both 2.5.5b1 and 2.5.5b2 versions of Remark. We also noticed that when the guide camera is set for 1x1 binning it will not expose via Remark. The cloud camera lens iced up and was unusable after about 2am. I did not want to use anything to scrape it off for fear of damaging the lens.
