I started DIMM with a bit more trouble tonight due to the times all being different. I had trouble tracking the star due to this. Adler folks were 1/2 hour late, so I mounted DIS and started to calibrate. There seemed to be some confusion as to Adler's request for instruments and what was available during twilight. I will look into it, DIS was mounted and the late twilight time was used for calibration and lamp cal exposures. At the start of UW03's run we had guide camera trouble that was later traced to a very curious incident. Somehow the instrument block was set to echelle right while both Craig and I were in the room. Neither of us typed it in, we have no idea how it switched. Craig looked in the logs and found when it happened, but we can't figure out how. This cost UW03 quite a bit of time altogether. UW03 did get some science images in the short time that they had left before the instrument switch. The second program started well, seeing was good. No problems. The DIMM data seemed to match the science instruments much more closely tonight. Tonight, as opposed to other nights, I opened the dome completely and left the side door open to allow free flow of the air. Perhaps this helps counteract the dome effects. At the instant I focused SPIcam at 1.19", DIMM was recording 1.17". 2nd Half Observing Specialist: R.McMillan Second half was uneventful, aside from an appearance of the "no flush" error on GRIM for two frames in a row during focus. After that, it went back to its usual one-in-one-hundred failure rate.
