It was long enough to get some flats for UW02 and a focus started. Surprisingly we got about 1/2 of data that could be used before clouds invaded. Clouds then were too thick for echelle observations, we closed at 23:00. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Russet McMillan The telescope was opened from 00:30 to 02:30 to take advantage of a moderate hole in the clouds. It was hardly photometric, but adequate to obtain data and safe for the telescope as judged by all available measures. The NM observer was not present at the time, having left before midnight. Fortunately, Alan Diercks had checked in to see how the weather was doing, so he had an opportunity to test out his focus script for GRIM. Around 02:30 the clouds came back and the humidity started to rise, so Alan's scheduled time starting at 03:37 was not usable.
