Alan Diercks observed remotely from UW. The net ground to a halt during twilight flats as NMSU networking attempted to switch over to vBNS. Alan gave up trying to take flats remotely and by the time I got SPIcam sorted out the sky was getting dark. We did manage to get some flats, though. I took data for Alan for a little while, until things improved. After that there were no problems. The cloud camera images stopped updating when the net bogged down. Although the scripts continued to run on marmot, the images never resumed updating. The pointing is still not so great. I logged the pointing corrections I did tonight. In a few nights we may have enough data for a new pointing model. The collimation is needs adjusting as well. Images quickly become very astigmatic on either side of focus. 2nd half observing specialist: Karen Gloria Charles Hoopes observed remotely from NMSU. His workstation crashed part way through his run, making it difficult for him to look at his images. He was still able to observe through his remark connection, however. Other than that, his run went smoothly.
