Julianne Dalcanton was observing remotely from UW. We had intermittent network problems all evening. Most of these originated offsite. The net problems cascaded into problems with the cloud camera, problems with Julianne's SPIcam connection, and occasional problems with the mc. Julianne was a real trooper through it all. We had a lot of high clouds for the first part of the evening. These were accompanied by poor (2 - 3 arcsec) seeing. The clouds eventually departed and the seeing also improved to 1.5 - 2.0 arcsec. 2nd half observing specialist: Russet McMillan The connection to UW hung twice during second half -- once around 00:10, and the second time around 04:25. On the first occasion, the tmcnode had to be restarted; it got stuck in the middle of a slew, several minutes *after* the connection to UW had gone down. The second time, there was a freeze of a couple of minutes in the mc, but it recovered. The bias images from spicam were showing the old corduroy-type noise pattern that has been seen before.
