Accumulation was about 2 inches. The wind blew almost all of the snow off the enclosure roof, leaving just a bit in the crevices, none on the ridge. The sky cleared early, but blowing snow kept the enclosure closed. I lowered the gust limit to 20 mph because of the blowing snow, although we continued to get gusts over 35 mph. Matt Holman (NM07) was unable to connect via Remark on his remote macintosh. Craig worked with him on the problem in the afternoon. He is fairly sure the problem is with the mc. Matt plans to run a straight mcnode connection in lieu of Remark 2nd half observing specialist: Russet McMillan We did not open during second half. The wind continued to gust above 35 mph, and the humidity also climbed above the limit starting around 01:30. It was difficult to tell whether snow was actually falling from the sky or simply blowing around; the radar indicated snowfall, but there was minimal accumulation. We kept the snow program running during the night to keep snow from drifting on the roof. In the morning, I left the telescope facing south.
