No problems to report. Eva began her flats early due to narrow band filters and all went smoothly. Had a funny problem later when the telescope refused to slew to a very nearby position. I kept getting a complaint that the calculation had not converged within 30 seconds, but I received this error after about 10 seconds. It turns out that we were very near the position where the telescope needed to unwind, after this was accomplished it worked fine. 2nd Half Observing Specialist: Russet McMillan Second half was characterized by cirrus and high winds. The wind forced a closure from 04:20 to 05:20, but we managed to get another science exposure before dawn. The telescope and DIS behaved well for the most part, but a few small glitches were apparent. Gordon's Remark crashed at the end of the morning for unknown reasons; the net seemed fine at the time. The cloud camera, as it has on most recent nights, got stuck in its northernmost position, requiring a power cycling and manual repositioning -- this familiar problem seems to be getting more frequent. Also, two strange objects (one represented by the astronomical symbol for Earth) appeared on the cloud camera just west of the meridian and proceeded to set in the southwest near the end of second half. OBSERVER COMMENTS G.Richards (UC01): Not too bad of a night given the clouds. Had to close up a bit early due to high winds, but managed to get in one more shot before sunrise. Curiously, both the moon and the earth rose instantaneously at 21:50 in the cloud camera images.
