Based on the weather forecast, Scott Anderson decided to run his backup, spectroscopy program instead of the photometry. He and Xiaohui Fan (observing from Princeton) were able to get to a couple targets before the clouds got too bad. 2nd half observing specialist: Russet McMillan Second half remained cloudy. I closed the cloud camera at 03:30 since radar was showing precipitation not far away, but nothing actaully came down here. OBSERVER COMMENTS S.Anderson (UW10): Lots of clouds were drifting by, but we got some useful data early in the evening before closing for most of the remainder of the first half. We also got a brief slice (useful though) of additional time on the sky near the end of the first-half, thanks to Karen's careful attention to conditions. Instrument (DIS/low res), telescope, and APO staff support were excellent.
