All of tonight was given to engineering. The back half of the observing level near the stairs is flooded from the downpours.(I have tried to mop it up) At 23:10, I saw a small patch of clear sky, so I opened the cloud cam and began getting the telescope ready to open. As I went up to open the dome, I heard rain on the tunnel roof. After looking at the sky from the catwalk and seeing how quickly the clouds and lightning were blowing in, I decided to wait. The humidity then started to rise and a fog rolled in for the rest of the evening keeping the humidity over 90%. Forecast:(4:30am) TODAY...VARIABLE CLOUDINESS WITH SCATTERED MAINLY AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND GUSTY WINDS FROM THUNDERSTORMS. .TONIGHT...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...MOST BEFORE MIDNIGHT. .THURSDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY. WIDELY SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS.
