All of tonight was given to engineering. Mark Klaene, Dave Woods, and Craig Loomis came in this afternoon and worked on the rotator from 1-6PM. They remapped secondary, removed cable hanging from the azimuth drive, set valve for one of the variables that seems to get corrupted (not sure on specifics). As long as rotator controller does not get an interruption in power, there should be no problems. Started 2 fake pointing models at 6PM and they worked fine. Checked GRIM by taking a few biases, worked fine. DIS biases looked good, I took ten. I took lamp spectra with DIS. I used the 2.0 arcsec slit with the new lamp configuration for Argon, Neon, Helium in the high and low resolution in red and blue. I have not processed the data yet. Forecast:(4:30am) .TODAY...CONSIDERABLE MORNING CLOUDS...THEN PARTLY CLOUDY WITH SCATTERED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS.
