Upon closing the mirror covers last night, and upon opening them this morning, it was noticed that occasionally one would hesitate, and lag behind the others in its group. The incident occurred with two different cover sections each time, so I do not believe it is inherent to one particular cover. The covers did open completely. The GFP was online again this evening. It seems as if they had a good night for seeing, it reached a best of .8"! We did have MULTIPLE MAC CRASHES (3) early on. Email has been sent to the programmer, and trouble reports filed. The reboots were fast and we were soon on the sky again. Cam OBSERVER'S COMMENTS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Again, they retired before comments were mailed, though I know they were working on them. Will add them to tomorrows log. I do know that they were unhappy with the frequent Mac crashes, and the poor tracking at zenith. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- It took quite a while to focus, as I did not believe that again the seeing went from nice, .9", to less nice, 1.4" in the time it took to switch instruments! Other than that, no probs on my shift...
