The EAGAL instrument took twilight time for testing and preparing for tomorrow's run. I began the pointing model at 21:00 after focusing SPICAM and the GUIDER. I did a 70 point pointing model. The coeff. that changed the most was the index error in azimuth(IA). The new pointing model has been implemented. Connie Rockosi was observing for the second part of the evening. This was time to replace some of the time lost earlier in the week. Comments:A very productive night with clear skies and good seeing near the end, at least in the near IR. There is a new (since my last 3.5m time) artifact in the first driftscan after a snapshot frame, wherein the last buffer never gets read, or at least never written to a file. Control-C or a timeout will end the scan, and everything works fine on all subsequent scans until another snapshot frame is taken. I was also able to observe for the Lens Monitoring program. I observed 2237.
