The observer was Charles Hoopes for NM02. There were no major problems. The guide camera control software crashed/hung three times during guiding. Seeing was a bit worse than average. I based my dust closure limit on combined readings from the enclosure and tower dust monitors. This made a big difference on the amount of time the telescope was open. The enclosure monitor is located near the primary mirror. It's reading was about 1/2 to 2/3 that of the tower monitor, depending on enclosure and wind direction. Some dust was visible down in the basin. None visible in my flashlight beam. A tough call. OBSERVER COMMENTS Charles Hoopes (NM02) - "It was a great night of observing. There were no problems that cost any time on the sky. The DIS red-chip readnoise is back up to 25 electrons. It was down to 11 two months ago. There is also banding in the bias."
