Opening was delayed by a dust event. It was closed for an hour at 02:10 MDT, again due to dust. The observers were Joni Johnson and Tom Harrison for NM08, and Paul Mason for NM09. OBSERVER COMMENTS Joni (NM08) - "The early part of the night was marred by high dust counts. We opened shortly after 10 and then observed until 1 a.m. The seeing was poor, but the conditions were adequate for the project." Paul (NM09) - "After one successful standard observation we had to close due to dust. We were able to open and begin observing again at 3:15 MST. I obtained phased resolved spectroscopy of AM Her for about 75% of its orbital period of 3.1 hours. Everything, besides the dusty interval, went real well."
