Michael Strauss and Xiaohui Fan were on site to observe for the PU02 program. Comments: We observed all night and got good data on our galaxies, despite variable and occassionally thick cirrus. We lost a little time to DIS being hung after we accidentally issued a sync command during an exposure, but overall the observing was quite efficient. We noticed a little trouble with tracking at the beginning of the night when pointing at a bright star near zenith. It was drifting about a .5 an arcsec per minute on the unguided exposures.
