He reports that pointing was sometimes sporadic. The dust counts were kind of high, although there was almost no wind and no accumulation of dust on surfaces outside. GRIM2 didn't hang on any of the many exposure sequences that were run. The seeing was very good all night. The observers were Tom Williams (UNM) and Randy Grashuis (UNM). OBSERVER COMMENTS (NM12) - "Excellent seeing all night - instrument performed without incident: commend and time all around. Operators were efficient and unobtrusive but helpful. All in all an exceptional night of observing for us. It appears that we were able to obtain the SNR wanted with a number of our faintest stars (K ~ 17.1 -> 17.4)."
