I called the Albuquerque Weather Service at this time, and the forecast was for overcast skies and a high possibility of snow flurries. I reopened at 19:55, but the heavy clouds came in again, and I had to close at 20:40. I reopened at 22:30, but closed again at 23:00. Jeff Secker was the observer for the first half of the evening, with Betsy Weaver and Jeff Brown. COMMENTS:The heavy cloud cover forced us to keep the enclosure closed for most of the first half of the night. During the brief periods it was open, SPIcam operate flawlessly, but we could not get any useful , as the clouds were still too dense and varied rapidly on short timescales. The second half of the night was much worse. I opened at 2:10, and had to close at 2:37. Alan Diercks was basically shut out by weather. At 18:00, there was a problem with the azimuth drive. I could not get it to move. I called Mark Klaene, and he told me to reset the azimuth motor controller on the intermediate level. This fixed the problem.
