The WSMR group, assisted by Mark Marley, tested the Amber camera on a variety of bright stars and the moon. After a few attempts to locate an object, with quite a bit of trouble, Charles Corson rechecked the tertiary position, but with no obvious error found, we continued. The pointing seemed to be fine after that. I was preparing for Connie Rockosi's observing, and a storm rolled in from the north bringing high humidity, snow, drizzle, high winds, and overcast skies. I could not reopen for the rest of the evening, as the weather was completely unstable, with the humidity and clouds coming and going, and we also received accumulation of approximately an inch of snow. Latest forecast:(4:30am) TODAY...A FEW MOUNTAIN PEAK SNOW FLURRIES THIS MORNING...OTHERWISE FAIR SKIES. NORTHWEST WINDS 10-15 MPH. .TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY.
