We had just enough time to focus and take a few images before the sky clouded up again. We reopened at 22:45, when the sky cleared. 2nd half Observing Specialist: Camron Hastings Sky stayed clear throughout the second half. I noticed quite a few 'hiccups' in the guider images. Bernadette also noticed trailed images occurring randomly throughout the night, although the total number of lost images was small. ------------ Observer Comments ------------ UW05 (B.Rodgers): My half of the night enjoyed beautiful clear weather. GRIM behaved wonderfully throughout the run. We did notice a half-dozen or more (out of >400) images were badly trailed, but the problem was sporadic and never persisted more than one image. The telescope pointed very well, and seemed to track well (except these occasional jumps) even without much help from the guider (which couldn't keep up with the many offsets I was doing along the slit). All in all, a wonderful uneventful and productive night!
