Part of PU01, was also preempted. We had some cirrus and gusty SW winds, plus the occasional net slowdown. Otehr than that there were no problems to report. 2nd half observing specialist: Russet McMillan Second half was mostly clear with just occasional puffs of cirrus, still windy, with lousy seeing. DIS behaved well, without dumping lN2. There was a strange occurrence with the slit camera; the orientation seems to have changed. I noticed that when I requested a negative X offset in Remark, a positive X command was issued through the mcnode. When I requested a positive X offset, the command gave negative X. This worked out all right: I thought I needed a negative move, I requested a negative move, and the positive move that was commanded put the star where I wanted it. In Y, however, it was a different story. Remark and the mcnode agreed with each other, but suddenly a negative Y offset moved the star down on the slit viewer and a positive one moved it up. I have no idea how this happened. The rotator was at Object 0 rotation, and the offsets were all Instrument offsets.
