I opened at 00:20. We had heard nothing from the observer for UC11, no proposal was on file, and the web page said nothing but "This is the program requested by C. Mallouris." When I called Chris Mallouris, he had not been informed that UC11 was his program or that it had been assigned open time. Because of this, he had not acquainted himself with SPIcam or chosen a specific filter set. He reached the UC observing room at 00:30 just as I started focusing SPIcam with the filters that were already in place. Once he got going, everything went smoothly. He was not monitoring the images, however, so problems with the PMSS may have gone undetected. At 03:35 the MC node lost its connection, and Remark began claiming that the net was down, even though no other connections were affected (including the TCC). I restarted the MC, and everything seemed normal after that. I don't know what caused the dropped connection. At 03:50, the humidity rose again just as sharply as it had dropped earlier, and I closed the telescope. By 04:30 the humidity was 100% and it looked like pea soup outside.
