The site received some freezing rain late Saturday night, followed by 4.5 inches of wet snow. As of late this afternoon there was a 1/2 to 3/4 inch layer of ice covering the enclosure roof. 2nd half observing specialist: Russet McMillan We remained closed for second half. Toward dawn, the temperature rose above freezing. The day is predicted to be sunny, so hopefully the ice will melt from the roof.
