The sky was clear early in the evening, but became cirrusy later on. Gene Magnier and I were using the same filter set, which was very convenient. I gave him some of my twilight time to do SPIcam tests in exchange for his twilight flats. I observed two lenses for PU01. The seeing was variable, from 1.1 to 1.8 arcsec at times. There were no problems with either the instrument or the telescope. 2nd half observing specialist: Camron Hastings I took over with everything running smoothly. Cirrus had set in by this time though. Seeing improved a bit, though still not stable at around 1.0". All pieces of software worked well, such as the guider monitor and cloud camera. Nothing to report problem wise. The clouds moved in near morning and finally stopped Gene from further observing.
