Brad Holden was able to obtain some imaging data, but only a few images as the dome was closed several times due to the humidity. Chris Stubbs observed for D. Reiss with good conditions. A good data set was obtained for the SN target. The network connection was rather slow for both Holden and Stubbs, the ftp process was very slow, for Chris it was about 24Kbytes/sec and is usually three times as fast. Though this has not stopped observing in the past, the slow ftp transfers is becoming a frequent nuisance. The guider mac continues to hang with no apparent cause. I could not access the mac as it hung in a screen saver mode. No errors were seen at the TCC. USER COMMENTS: Holden The ftp process sped-up as the night progressed. No problems with the telescope or insturment. The pointing from night to night is pretty consistent based on my standard fields. Stubbs Despite losing a little time to humidity closure, our run was very succesful. We are grateful for the assistance Charles gave us, and are happy telescope users. The net bandwidth was erratic, with frequent delays nearly 10sec in the Remark interface. I sent some traceroute data that might be useful.
