                             ACTIVITY/FAILURE   LOG
The dome was opened with partly cloudy skies and poor seeing.  Paula
Szkody was the observer, using DIS.  Observing was interrupted for 1.3hrs
due to cloudy conditions and again toward the end of her time for 1hr.
The remainder of her time was useful, increasingly better seeing and
mostly clear sky.
Paula did have difficulty in using the auto-ftp transfer via REMARK.
Two ftp servers exisited, one on tycho and the other galileo.  Craig
disabled the tycho server and the auto-ftp process was restored.
Brad Holden observed for the second half of the night but the skies did
not clear, overcast and the threat of precipation existed.

"I got about 19 usable spectra on my object (the first few were
marginal but the rest pretty good considering the seeing
and clouds.)  So, it has been worthwhile."
