Paula Szkody was the observer for UW01. She was shut out by the weather. Dan Zucker and Ted Wyder were observing for UW09. They were able to collect some data. They used the 2.0 arcsec steel slit. Gordon Richards was the observer for UC01. He lost an hour due to some slight trailing problems, and the strange Remark blinking problem, which I fixed by rebooting the TCC. He also lost a half hour to weather, when a large cloud covered us almost completely, and the humidity went up. He finally obtained some QSO data at the end of the night. During afternoon checkout, Charles encountered a problem where the elevation axis repeatedly overshot it's position. After verifying that the axis map was valid, and that no MS.DUMP erros were large, he went to the observing floor to move the axis and observe. He noted upon initialization, there was a loud ringing from the drive. During the troubleshooting, the symptom stopped. See MSR for more detail. (Jon Davis was contacted, and helped with troubleshooting.)
