The telescope was closed due to weather until 22:00 MDT. Charles was the observer for PU01. Tzevi Mazeh was the observer for UC08 (observing from Israel), and Tom Harrison was the observer for NM07. *The telescope is oscillating in the azimuth direction. The amplitude of the oscillation is 6 arcsec on the sky. This oscillation is present at all telescope positions except the northern quadrant, where it is completely absent (pointing was very good in all regions of the sky). Charles and I both explored the several possible causes. Tom had two objects in the north, so he was able to do some observing, which is fortunate because the weather was very good. I didn't log any used time to NM07 due to the condition of the tracking in most of the sky. *I used the twilight time to work with the guide camera. Due to the oscillation problem in most of the sky, I decided not to take pointing model data. I tested guiding instead. Guiding failed, although some interesting things were learned.
