The telescope is closed for scheduled engineering to install the new
guide camera.  Jeff Morgan worked with Jon Davis, and Craig Loomis on
the cable wrap and fiber optic connections, respectively.  The camera
was successfully operated from the 3.5-m control room.  Jeff and I
took a pinhole image of the inside of the telescope enclosure.
Installation work continues through Friday, June 20th.

                             TELESCOPE STATUS
Primary, secondary, and tertiary mirrors in place and collimated.
Primary support system operational.  Mirror ventilation system in
place.  Telescope drives operational.  Current Remark version: 2.36.
Current guide software version: GIm Ctrl SI502 6.3.96.
