Charles Corson and I began obtaining sky flats for the Lens Monitoring, but as we tried to focus, we noticed a few problems. First, the pointing was very far off, so we tried a pointing error correction, but the images were not dumping. The guider mac had to be rebooted. Then a power loss to the DIS micro occurred, and that needed to be rebooted (cycled the power on the instrument). The sky was photometric, so the decision was made to take throughput measure- ments. We finally obtained throughput measurements using Feige67, which was successful. No data was obtained in reference to 0957 due to all the dilemmas. Mike Strauss and Chris Stubbs participated in the PU02 run. They had clear skies for the entire evening. Approximately 1:30, Chris asked us to put the deep seated baffle in, and after we did this, an intermittent communication problem occurred with the azimuth axis. The azimuth tracking seemed fine, as there was no prior indication of an error. The drift scans were not correct, Charles rebooted the TCC to correct the problem, and Mike and Chris continued on only losing .5 hours to the communication failure.
