I observed Venus during twilight to help Nancy Chanover prepare for her upcoming run. I sent her, via email, all the information on where the images are kept and what the names are. I am hoping to hear back from her, as to whether we need to run this test again. Gene Magnier observed with GRIM2 from 18:28 to 20:28, as GRIM2 was on the telescope for the Venus tests. Then he chose to switch to SPICAM for the rest of the night. His comments on the evening are as follows:"Nothing particular. I finished my imaging survey of emerging Young Stellar Objects. Things went smoothly, except for a single large focus jump." Paula Szkody continued with SPICAM for the rest of the evening. Her comments: "I've gotten nice eclipse data-3 eclipses to 22nd mag. in 3 colors. I will have over 500 images when the night is complete." I reviewed a few weather reports and all speak of the large storm moving this way from California. It states that we will have precipitation from Sunday through Tuesday (worst case). The radar looks very threatening to the west. Also, one report states two storms will be back to back in this time frame.
