NMSU was also aboard to investigate the feasability of using WSMR's Amber camera for science. On sky test were done prior to sundown and into twilight. Nancy Chanover's tracking test was not done. Two items, the turnover from WSMR was too late to observe Venus. Not on the schedule was a test of SPICAM's new instrument block. This was done but unsuccessful, telescope driftscans in the opposite direction as required. Of note, when we set up for focus, it was discovered that the secondary controller had lost it's map. In order to convert from the WSMR configuration to normal NA2, the secondary tip/tilt values had to be returned to nominal values. In this update, a period was left off, integer not floating point, and I strongly suspect that this was the cause. It is also possible that power to the secondary was interrupted today, but seems unlikely. Alan reported that the seeing was very good, at times 0.9arc-sec. Guider characterization followed. A fair set of data was obtained and will be passed on to Jeff Morgan. Twenty minute guiding sequences were made. A first look at the data suggests that the guider is capable of guiding at about 0.25 arcsec rms. More careful analysis is needed, but the upshot is that the guider is not degrading performance and can guide with 15mag stars at less than 10sec integration (clear skies). Some software issues and a 60hz ac noise still need to be addressed before the project is complete. The new tip/tilt values were installed and a 33pnt pointing model was obtained. The map was of good quality and was applied. Pointing was excellent. Of note, on several occasions during the guiding tests, SPICAM measured seeing at 0.86 - 0.9 arcsec, 10sec exp in R, 3.1 to 3.5 pixels fwhm.
