I got several exposures of 2237 and 2345. Ted Wyder had a good run with SPICAM. He actually got a few hours of photometric conditions. Quite surprising given the forecast and the satellite images of the area. Jeff Secker had the last half of the night and used SPICAM as well. He commented how much of a joy it is to use and how nice even the raw images look. The guider gagged once tonight, complaining in the Telrun window about "too few replies", and at the guider mac the message was "replyStream error". Rebooting the guider mac and the guider controller cured the problem. It did not recur. One curious thing. At the beginning of the night the net was excruciatingly slow; the cloudscan image window would almost always start refreshing again before it was even half way through downloading. The curious thing was that I saw the time tags on the images getting further and further behind the current time until they lagged by nearly an hour, yet for nearly two hours of this there was no complaint from the cloudscan software, and the scanner was continuing to take data. Shortly thereafter the scan software complained about not receiving any new images in some time, so I restarted the software. Around this time ( midnight ), the net started speeding up again, and the image's time tag was the more usual 15 minutes behind current time.
