Michael Strauss, Xiaohui Fan, Charles Corson and I began the evening using the pinhole filter in SPICAM to test for scattered light. (changing the baffle and it's position) When we finally opened, we used the GUIDER and then Michael continued with drift scanning. Connie Rockosi was the observer for UC04. She proceeded to observe with SPICAM. We seemed to encounter a pointing problem around 3:40. I tried track/pterr, but that did not fix it. I also tried stopping the motors, reinitializing, and moving the telescope over the magnasensors, but that did not resolve it. I finally went to another target and found a bright catalog star and centered on it. That worked. Connie mentioned a tracking problem also:/export/images/ cmr27/oct270084.fits, which I think is due to being too close to zenith. Charles restarted the temperature process, but it has not been updating the structural temperatures all evening.
