Karen gloria and I focused using DIS and the GUIDER, as Xiaohui Fan wanted to make use of both instruments. No problems tracking or guiding. Xiaohui continued making use of the slit camera to take high resolution images of faint galaxies. At 2:45, I noticed the slit camera image was only displaying part of what had been showing minutes before. I went outside and found it to be overcast and murky, and I observed lightning to the west. At this time I closed the telescope, and took a look from the catwalk. I could see the storm coming in from the west. I also checked the radar images which confirmed what I was seeing. (Xiaohui also mentioned his last image was very weak) The telescope was not reopened.
