Feels like this could be related to the same kind of NFS problems Jose and Conor experienced earlier in the night/late afternoon. The good news is the flat and arc don't look bad at all -- with the collimator actuators in the middle of their range the camera focus is already relatively close to where it needs to be, so that should make things go quickly when we're able to take and analyze hartmanns. The weather calmed down and sky cleared up the last several hours of the night. I finished taking fiducial data, then opened during part of that time just to try to get on sky with the FPS and see what bugs need squashed yet. See images #60-88, roughly. Best focus was approximately -1300 um around image #80. There weren't any bright stars in GFA1 or GFA6, but enough to at least have gotten a sense of the new relative focus value. ---- Observing Log ---- ============================================================================ AFTERNOON CHECKOUT ============================================================================ Jose and Conor were online working on some permissions-related troubles. Around 03:20Z Jose reported: The FVC is working and it's fitting all the robots except one that may have a broken fibre but that it was already like that before the shutdown. The GFAs are also working. [...] There is an issue with the containers that run the FVC/GFA cameras but I think I don't want to try to fix it tonight. I need to check with Shane and may require restarting the NFS server and that may bring down all kind of stuff. It seems hotfixed for now and more or less working. [...] something is different with the NFS server after the server upgrade and it's been causing all kind of permission issues. We'll end up catching all the instances.
