Several issues are fixed with helps from Katie, Jose, Shane, and John Donor. We completed: 1. Homed BOSS collimator, placed all three pistons at the middle of their moveable ranges, at ~25K. 2. For the record, APOGEE dither-cleaning procedure was run on 8/8/26. The dither was moved by +0.7 pixels. 3. updated mcp_fiducial tables to most recent version v1_153. 4. APOGEE post-shutdown cal: 25X100 reads darks. files: apRaw-57020011, 100, A, Dark -- apRaw-57020035, 100, A, Dark. 5. Completed lossy fiber data for red camera, but don't have enough time for blue camera data. Notes: We are running IDLSPEC2D version 6.2.2dev and RUN2D v6_3_0-alpha which are different from versions ran before shutdown. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ========= Check actors and systems. sp1cam was found dead during checkout. ( katie and José fixed it). sdss5-obs2 could not connect to /data (shane and John fixed) Took a set of APOGEE evening cal but found that sdss5-display doesn't display the data. script, ds9_live.py, return error: cannot find the SDSS data directory. apogee evening calibration are taken, checked. Night: ===== SP1cam was found in a odd status. BOSS ping returns "sp1cam dead", but some camera information are consistent updated with "boss sp1cam raw=specstat (tcheck ect)". temperatures, heater voltages are changed, so it is not stale information. heater voltages for both red and blue cameras are lower than their normal values at 5.5 v and -0.6 v, but CCD temperatures are correct, within 1 degree of their set temeratures. "boss status" seems indicating all three controllers, sp1daq, sp1mech, and sp1cam are there, but boss ping returns "sp1cam dead". Katie came in to the site, José login for the "sp1cam dead" issue. APOGEE post-shutdown calibration.
