The pads and socks stuck frozen to the floor, which is a known problem for years. This time somebody did a pretty good job and caulked all holes and slits around the western door with absorbing socks. When they absorbed some water and got frozen, it was imporrbile to get them out without a heat gun or without waiting until the spring comes. When I attempted to melt the socks with the heat gun, they immediately started destroying in the way that the outer fabric (I'm sure plastic) got melted with holes, and the inner substance crumbled out or melted to form bigger pieces. It didn't take a lot of heat, just a short exposure to the heat gun. As a result, I only partly extracted the socks' trash from underneath the corner parts of the enclosure and from deep cavities, and later cleaned them off only when opened. Maybe some small pieces still stuck in some cavities. So, the socks don't work against snow - this is a rain protection equipment. The pads are ok, although some of them I was unable to melt quickly enpugh and left them stuck to the metal floor in the areas where they don't interfere with moving enclosure. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon ========= All systems checked, no problems found. Opening slightly delayed because of many parts got heavily icy beneath the western door, and I realized it only when started ventilation.
