It is a productive night, observed and completed 32 designs, obtained two sets of BOSS focus sweep data (with 75 minutes). Notes: 1: MTP #7 has good flux tonight. Cleaning done today makes the difference? 2: Apogee exposure 47640057 and BOSS exposure 364138 were aborted. I loaded the 2nd design, 463966, of the field 104382, clicked ongotoField. I started exposure when I saw guider is ready and readout on BOSS was completed. It turned out the gotoField didn't start. I aborted both BOSS (fellow by BOSS clearExposure), and re-run the gotoField. 4 minutes was lost to the mistake. Since "boss clearExposure" was run, the next exposure still have the number 364138. 3: BOSS focus sweep data was obtained but the seeing seemed not stable during the data collection. The "best focus" may not been well defined. A couple of notes and observations. 1) It takes about 40 minutes to get one set of data (including a full set of BOSS cal and a set of GFA focus sweep). Therefore, to better match the required rotator angles (180 degree apart), we would choose two designs with the same Dec but 1 hour RA difference. If everything go really smooth, we could one design between them. 2)It's better to get the data at low altitudes so rotator doesn't move fast. Therefore fields at Dec=0 and 60 are good choices. 3) "tcc set foc" commands were issued during BOSS readout. It's possible that BOSS exposures fits headers may not have correct focus values depends if the information is collected after exposure readout is completed.
