We had prepared for opening around 0400 local time, but invariably the humidity increased when we started ventilation and force-filled BOSS. ---- Engineering Issues ---- There's a pile of absorbant pads next to the south winch in the enclosure. Night: ====== We will not be opening at sunset due to nearby radar returns and high humidity. 02:30Z - Humidity is still too high, but the radar has improved. Started the cloud camera. 09:33Z - Dewpoint depression has been very slowly increasing and has now been holding around 3C for about fifteen minutes. The 2.5m sensor seems to have frozen, so we've been using the Optidew values for comparison. Started ventilation, removed absorbant pads, and force-filled BOSS in case we can open soon. 10:06Z - The dewpoint depression dropped again, now down to 2.8C. The BOSS fill finished, so we went down to check on the conditions. The RH sensor inside the enclosure has increased from 90% to now 100%. It's clear the humidity isn't actually 100%, but the relative increase agrees with the drop in dewpoint depression we saw on the Weather page. Not the trend we had hoped for, so we stopped ventilation. 10:38Z - Conditions are the same and dewpoint depression also the same as when we stopped ventilation.
