Subject: Re: [sloan-25mlog 6013] Re: 2.5m obslog 20220417 (SJD 59687) From: Karen Kinemuchi Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2022 12:58:58 -0600 We did not disable robots last night. =20 During the start of the telescope dither test, we noticed in the set of = FVC loops (max-iter 4) for the first exposure at the before the actual = telescope dithers started to resolve correctly, and then the last FVC = loop iteration produced a very large RMS of 493. Then the rest of the = FVC loop results showed this value, but the other parameters appeared to = be fine and the FVC loop succeeded. As per the instructions, we went = ahead, but noted that at least 4 robots did not seem to be in good = locations. =20 Sorry that all the FVC loop output didn=E2=80=99t make it into the night = log, but I=E2=80=99m going to recommend you check out fimg 14(?)-17. = For sure fimg-fvc1n-0017.fits, as that set of FVC output shows the RMS = at this high level: 05:01:59 OBSERVER.karen 109 jaeger d = fvc_filename=3D/data/fcam/59687/fimg-fvc1n-0017.fits 05:02:03 OBSERVER.karen 109 jaeger i fvc_rms=3D493.82 05:02:03 OBSERVER.karen 109 jaeger i fvc_deltarms=3D-480.76 05:02:03 OBSERVER.karen 109 jaeger i fvc_perc_90=3D14.9 05:02:03 OBSERVER.karen 109 jaeger i fvc_percent_reached=3D48.0 We started the telescope dither test around 05:00Z, so if you are going = through logs, please look around that time stamp. We also had a design that produced deadlocks and we had to manually fold = up the robots since the jaeger could not execute the move. I want to = say it was during the second exposure of the base position at the start = of the telescope dither test. Sorry that information did not make it = into the night log. > On Apr 18, 2022, at 8:17 AM, Conor Sayres wrote: >=20 > Hi Guys, >=20 > I don=E2=80=99t believe there=E2=80=99s been a change.
