For GFA1 until now you should have needed --force, and --force with gfa6 would have equally worked so that should be fine. fliswarm also has some issues disabling and re-enabling cameras, I'll look into it. Apart from Grafana, in STUI/Boson you should see a key= word power_gfa=3DF,T,T,T,F,F which corresponds to eac= h GFA 1-6. T means powered on, F off. Those should be output immediately after a power status change. That = keyword is output by jaeger, is = that what you meant with fliswarm status? If you weren't seeing the F in gfa6 there then it does seem a= s if it indeed needed the --forc= e, although I'm not sure why.
