The reason I recommended we steal a core was from watching the cpu usage = while an exposure was being bundled, it seemed to me it never got above 50%= total usage. I suppose the compression process could use cpu erratically. We have a core in reserve for just in case things like this. If you're conf= ident it's a cpu issue, Shane can re-allocate that core to mwm. Did you happen to check the cpu usage on sdss5-mwm when it was slowing down= ? The reason I recommended we steal a core was from watching the cpu usage = while an exposure was being bundled, it seemed to me it never got above 50%= total usage. I suppose the compression process could use cpu erratically. We have a core in reserve for just in case things like this. If y= ou're confident it's a cpu issue, Shane can re-allocate that core to mwm.
