Jose will provide more detailed instructions 2. choose a different APOGEE field (not 35929, 35939, or 35913) which will be at low airmass for several hours a. do a robot dither 0.0, FVC no-apply, then an APOGEE 30 read exposure (this failed last night, not sure why?) b. do 12 sets of dither 0.1, FVC no-apply, APOGEE 30 read exposure (note: don't forget to take a dome flat at the end of the sequence). → if guiding at non-zero PA is working, repeat this on two more designs at different non-zero PAs 3. choose a different BOSS field (not 35892, 35956, or 35948) which will be at low airmass for several hours a. after an FVC loop, on the undithered robot position, 300 sec exp b. do 24 sets of dither 0.2, BOSS 300s exposures (no FVC loop) ---- Observing Summary ---- Clear night, good seeing. We were on sky all night. We obtained more robot-dither data and successfully verified guiding at several non-zero PA's.
