It switched back on about an hour or so after sunset. The precip sensor went off several times from blowing snow the first half of the night and we still had enough residual ice/snow in, on, and around the enclosure that we remained closed and completed eight inside-enclosure FVC 24-dither loops. Also noteworthy, we didn't have any problems with the chiller today (even when we were on generator power). In both cases snapshots (noted in Log) sometimes showed plenty of room around the positioners with no sign of a collision. First it was with 0608, then after disabling 0608 we were seeing 0184 was throwing complaints. We then disabled 0184. For the rest of the night (which was pretty much the entirety of the night and included loading 7 different fields) we didn't experience anymore collision complaints. (3) Later on, another VALUE_OUT_OF_RANGE error, but this time we reloaded the field and the subsequent 'execute' worked fine. The last compressor fault alarm was around 1500Z. For several minutes today, the Chiller reported a temperature of 6553C, however, since it did not melt through the floor, I doubt it. Note that 6553 is pretty close to 2^16 / 10 Mirror numbers in spec APOGEE cals taken, including a 30-read FPI BOSS cals taken We took a look at the chiller, which seems to be performing normally. Every second or so for only an instant, the chiller turns on the cooling loop, which will in turn cool the glycol. When the chiller temp got below the set point, those moments when the chiller was actively cooling would stop until the chiller warmed up a bit. We're still on generator power and there is lots of ice and snow around the enclosure, so we won't be able to open tonight, although the skies have cleared.
