Turned on engCam. To start the software, we need to access sdss5 at sdss5-hub, but something is changed, and it doesn't let me in. Waiting for Jose to response. Later, a problem with permissions was identified and fixed. Ventilation has not been started because of approaching rain system. Instead, absorbent pads are put by the western door in the upper enclosure. Night ----- Rain started around 1:40Z. The new instruction written by Karen on wiki suggests how to start eCam software: ssh sdss5@sdss5-hub systemctl --sdss5 start ecameraICC It doesn't work. Contacted Jose. Jose updated the command: systemctl --user start ecameraICC Unable to take darks or change temperature with connecting to the sdss4-hub: 03:08:44 OBSERVER.dmbiz 64 hub f NoTarget="the target named ecamera is not connected" Our mirror numbers have incorrect entries consistently from the nigh log of September 24. I attempted to stop/strt processes on TPM computer, but it did not change the incorrect entries in the mirror numbers. Updated an incorrect IP address, and now the mirror numbers report scale as 1 and focus as 0. Ecamera is working now. Dark and flat were taken. Instructions on the wiki were updated. When the connection to the ecamera is severed at the end of each night now, a simple 'ecamera reconnect' inside of STUI will get it running again the following day. The procedure was updated. Jose worked on bypassing the systems that rely on SOP within STUI. He is ready to test them out tomorrow. 10:40Z - Not going to open tonight because of the weather.
