The apogee and apogeecal actors were disconnected and had to be reconnected thrice tonight. ---- Observing Log ---- AFTERNOON CHECKOUT: =================== 23:08Z Cloudy on site. Radar approaching. 23:24Z Started APOGEE evening cals. Grabbed mirror numbers - ok. 00:24Z Finished non-dithered apogee evening cals. Inspected and ok. While setting up to do the FPI cals, the apogee and apogeecal actors were disconnected (no pong to the ping). Issued a hub startNubs for each actor and was able to start the FPI cals. 00:38Z FPI cals done and inspected - ok. 01:38Z Prepared the engineering camera. Dark -ok; Flat - ND64, exptime=50s, flux ~35K. 01:53Z Telescope ready. Delaying ventilation and opening since it is very cloudy and lots of nearby radar. 3:15- Disconnected and reconnected STUI to SDSS-V servers with Jose's help Changed STUI Preferences to sdss5-hub STUI doesn't know about the engineering camera with "tcc set inst=engcam" and a lot of information doesn't get populated because the guider isn't running. The guider and ecamera software needs to be closed from one connection (sdss4 server) before it's opened from a new connection (sdss5 server). Jose made progress on tcc and the STUI that will run on the SDSS-V servers. Rain sensor went off, still very thick clouds and radar. 10:14Z - Started morning APOGEE cals. Had to reconnect apogee/cal.
